BRENHAM CRIME REDUCTION UNIT ARRESTS TWO WEDNESDAY

  

Two people were arrested by Brenham Police Wednesday after a traffic stop.  At 10:00 AM, Officers with the Brenham Crime Reduction Unit  conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of W. Jefferson St. Investigation revealed the driver, Chester Coleman III, 31, of Brenham had an active warrant out of college station for assault family violence. The passenger, Ashlea Schwartz, 24, of Brenham had 3 active warrants, two of which were possession of controlled substance warrants. Further investigation revealed Schwartz to also be in possession of methamphetamines. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
