LOCAL POLICE MAKE SEVERAL WARRANT ARRESTS

Three people face charges after their arrests Monday on outstanding warrants.
Just after 9:00 a.m., 36-year old Enedina Ortiz of Brenham, was arrested following a traffic stop.
According to local police, Ortiz was pulled over in the 200 block of South Market. Authorities found she was wanted on an active warrant for Secure Execution of Document by Deception-Betwee $1,500 and $20,000, a third degree felony.

Just before midnight, police responded to the area of South Chappell Hill St. and Pecan St. to a suspicious person.
Police found 27-year old Ryan Kent of Brenham.
Kent had an active warrant out of Washington County for DWI-With a Blood-Alcohol Content Above .15.

Kent was placed in custody and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Then, just after 6:00 p.m. a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Second St. led to the arrest of the driver, 23-year old Xavier Taylor of Brenham.
According to police, Taylor had two active warrants out for his arrest.
Taylor was placed in custody along with the passenger, 23-year old Cameron Hoskins of Brenham.
Hoskins was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
