BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUES PERSON FROM ELEVATOR

  

The Brenham Fire Department had to rescue a person from an elevator, Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called out to Compass Bank at 2000 South Market, just after 1:00 p.m.

The department made entry to the elevator and used a pike pole to release the main door and remove the occupant.

The power was cut off, so no one else would use the elevator before it could be repaired.
