BURTON VFD HOSTING 71ST BARBECUE FUNDRAISER OCTOBER 13TH
The Burton Volunteer Fire Department is preparing to host its 71st Annual barbecue fundraiser.
Sunday, October 13th, the public is invited to the Burton Community Center to enjoy a barbecue brisket and pork meal. Barbecue will be served off the pit at 10 a.m., and to-go plates will be offered at 11 a.m.
In addition to the barbecue, guests can also look forward to a silent auction at 11 a.m. and a live auction at noon.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go to help the fire department with training and equipment costs.
