BRENHAM POLICE MAKE MARIJUANA/WEAPON ARREST

A Saturday afternoon traffic stop led to the arrest of a Houston man.
Just before 2:00 p.m., police pulled over 34-year old Jason Washington was pulled over by police in the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 290 West.
According to police, Washington was found in possession of marijuana and was unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Washington was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
