TWO CHARGED WITH DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Two people face DWI charges after their arrests over the weekend.
Friday night around 7:30, police pulled over a vehicle in the 400 block of West Lubbock.
According to authorities, the driver, 55-year old Carolyn Smith Mathis of Brenham, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with Open Alcoholic Container.
She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday morning, just after 1:00, police made a traffic stop near the 200 block of East Commerce Street.
The driver, 28-year old Freddie Martinez Jr. of Brenham, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While License Invalid.
Martinez was also transported to the Washington County Jail.
