LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS BATTLE STRUCTURE FIRE

  

Four fire departments were called on to extinguish a structure fire, Thursday afternoon in Washington County.

Just after 12:00 noon, firefighters with the Chappell Hill, Meyersville and Washington Fire Departments were called out to the 500 block of Copelyn Springs Road, just off FM 1155.

Also assisting was the Brenham Fire Department.

The crews were able to extinguish the blaze.  The extent of the damage and cause of the fire have not been released.
