TEXAS ANTIQUE TRACTOR SHOW AND PULL BEGINS FRIDAY IN HALLETTSVILLE

  

Activities begin tomorrow (Friday) in Hallettsville for the annual Texas Antique Tractor Show and Pull.

All events take place at the Wilbur Baber Memorial Complex in Hallettsville, located at the corner of FM 957 and County Road 200.  Through Saturday, the floor of the arena will be packed with displays of antique and classic farm machinery, tractors, stationary engines, and other equipment, there will also be a variety of vendors.

Registration starts at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon, and doors open at 5 p.m.  The “Straight Out of the Field” Exhibition Pull runs from 6 to 10 p.m.

Doors open Saturday morning at 8 a.m.  In addition to an all-new truck and tractor swap meet, there will be a competition pull at 10 a.m., a tractor parade at 1 p.m., and the Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull at 3 p.m.

Admission is $12 for ages 13 and older, and $10 for those over 65.  Proceeds go towards the Hallettsville American Legion Post #230.
