GERMANIA INSURANCE TO GIVE BACK NEARLY $6 MILLION TO PERSONAL AUTO POLICYHOLDERS
An insurance company with headquarters in Brenham has announced it will credit nearly $6 million back to personal auto insurance policyholders.
Wednesday, Germania Insurance announced its Reduced Driving Payback in response to the lower numbers of auto accidents caused by fewer drivers on the road due to COVID-19.
Payments of $25 will be provided for each personal auto policy that was in effect as of March 31st, and an additional $25 will be given for each policy that is effective as of April 30th. Payments are subject to regulatory approval.
Germania will automatically deposit the credits to the account of each eligible policy, reducing the current balance due. For accounts paid in full, a refund check will be issued and mailed.
The process will begin later this month and will be repeated in May. No action is required by policyholders to receive the credits.
With the grandkids out of school and on lockdown, just move mine over to my homeowners policy! Probably going to need it!!
LOL..??@pappy
Thank you, Germania. Couldn’t have come at better time.
