BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH THEFT
A Brenham man has been arrested on a theft charge after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
According to police, 33-year old Kenneth Helmer of Brenham was pulled over just after 1:00 Thursday morning.
Corporal Tommy Kurie says he was patrolling the 1000 block of East Blue Bell Road when he observed “suspicious activity”.
He pulled over Helmer’s vehicle and found him with stolen property.
He was charged with Theft-Class B Between $100-and-$750, and taken to the Washington County Jail.
