A traffic stop Thursday night led to the arrest of a Washington County man.  According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, Thursday at 9:00 pm, Washington County Deputy Corey Himebaugh conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Volvo in the 800 block of US 290 East.  After detecting the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle, both driver and the passenger, who was identified as 19 year old Washington County resident Jonathan Price Anderson, were detained.  During a probable cause search of the vehicle no illegal drugs were located, however, two fake driver licenses were located on the passenger floorboard depicting the photo of Anderson, his current address, an incorrect date of birth, and containing a driver license number of a 79 year old Houston resident.  Anderson was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, a State Jail felony. The driver of the vehicle was released without charges and Anderson was booked into the Washington County jail where his bond was set at $5,000.00 by Justice of Peace Doug Zwiener. The investigation into possible additional charges will continue.
