LOCAL MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

An early-morning traffic stop has led to a drug arrest by Brenham Police.
Officers came across a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., near Firemen’s Park.
Investigation revealed the driver 23-year old Rene Juarez of Brenham was in possession of narcotics.
Juarez was transported to Washington County Jail charged with Possession of Marijuana and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
