POLICE MAKE THREE DWI ARRESTS OVER THE WEEKEND

  

Brenham Police made a number of DWI arrests over the weekend.

Saturday, just after midnight, police pulled over a vehicle in the 1000 block of North Park St. and West Blue Bell Rd.

Investigations revealed that the driver, 21-year old Jonathan Joel Gonzales of Chappell Hill was allegedly intoxicated, as was the passenger, 42-year old Gerson William Castaneda Guillen of Brenham.

Both were placed into custody.  Gonzales was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, and Guillen was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Saturday, just before 5:00 p.m., local police were dispatched to the 2000 block of FM 389 in reference to a crash without entrapment.

61-year old Melvin Martin of Brenham was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with Three or More Convictions.

And, Sunday, just before 8:00 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of South Park St. for a 9-1-1 open line on a motorist assist.

Investigations revealed that 31-year old Casper Van Kleef of Houston was reportedly Driving While Intoxicated.

Kleef was arrested for DWI.
