CASAS FOR CASA VIRTUAL PLAYHOUSE DRAWING FRIDAY

  

CASA for Kids of South Central Texas is set to host its first annual Casas for CASA playhouse drawing today (Friday).

Four builders in the region – Estella Contracting from Washington County, Luedeker Homes in Austin County, Winston Sage Custom Homes in Colorado County, and Heritage Oak Homes in Waller County – have each agreed to build and donate a playhouse.  Residents from the four counties will all have a chance to win a playhouse for the child in their life.

Executive Director Mandy Wright said money raised from the event will support the organization’s goal of advocating for the best interest of children in foster care.

 

The drawing was initially scheduled to be held at an open house event this evening at CASA’s office in Brenham at 1500 South Day Street, but will instead be held as part of a Facebook live event beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The virtual event will feature carols from the Brenham High School choir and a walkthrough of each of the playhouses, leading up to the drawing at 6 p.m.

Tickets for the playhouse drawing are still available, and are $15 each or 10 for $100.
