LOCAL HOOP TEAMS SET TO RETURN TO ACTION, THIS WEEK
High school basketball is slated to return, after the Christmas break.
Monday, the Brenham Cubettes (1-9/0-3) are scheduled to return to action, hosting Waller in a game that was post-poned two weeks ago. The game is set to tip at 12:30 at the Brenham High School gym.
The Cubettes are scheduled to travel to Giddings, Tuesday.
The Cubs (4-6/0-1), meanwhile have two non-district games on tap for this week: Thursday at Navasota at 12:30 and Saturday at home to Bryan, 2:30.
The Burton Lady Panthers (2-5) are at home, Monday to Milano at 11:00. The Panthers (0-3) will host Leon at noon, Wednesday.
