TWO ARRESTED ON WARRANTS
Two Washington County men are facing charges after their arrests.
Earlier Wednesday 22-year old Sammy Madison Jr. of Brenham was arrested on two outstanding Washington County felony warrants while he was attending a hearing at the Washington County Courthouse in an unrelated case.
Back on August 5th, a Washington County resident returned home to find three men near his residence. The witness stated that one of the subjects displayed a knife and lunged at him after he told them he’d be calling the police.
All three subjects fled the scene on foot. An investigation led authorities to Madison. A felony arrest warrant was issued charging him with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond on this charge was set at $50,000.

Then on August 15, a burglary in progress was reported to sheriff’s deputies by a witness who observed two men walking around a residence on Jozwiak Road.
As deputies responded, the suspects fled in a vehicle and soon abandoned it on Mulberry Street in Chappell Hill. An investigation led to Madison Jr. and 27 year old Andrea Harris of Chappell Hill.
Felony arrest warrants charging both with Burglary of a Building were issued with Harris being served while incarcerated at the Brazos County Jail on an unrelated charge. Madison’s warrant was executed after being booked into the Washington County jail.
Bonds for both Madison and Harris were set at $50,000.
