BLINN BOARD TO ADOPT 2021-22 BUDGET, STIPENDS

The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday to formally adopt the budget for the 2021-22 Fiscal Year.

In addition to adopting the budget and stipends for the new fiscal year, trustees will consider proceeding with the design and seeking qualifications for construction manager at risk services for additional improvements and repairs in the Old Main Building on the Brenham Campus.  The building suffered water damage as a result of the fire suppression systems freezing during Winter Storm Uri.

The board will also look to seek proposals for furniture, fixtures and equipment for the RELLIS Phase II Building.

After an executive session, trustees will hear service audits and reports related to the districtwide risk assessment effort.

The board will meet Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.  Public access to the meeting will occur in rooms 2 and 3 of the Brenham Campus Student Center.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
