DIME BOX BLACK BRIDGE FESTIVAL, MINI-MARATHON THIS WEEKEND

  

The Dime Box Lions Club is set to host the annual Black Bridge Festival and Mini-Marathon this weekend.

The two-day festival on Friday and Saturday will feature live music, games and other activities in downtown Dime Box.

The festival gets underway Friday with dinner, the beginning of the barbecue cook-off and a street dance, along with the Little Mister and Miss Dime Box Pageant and a domino tournament.

The fun continues on Saturday with the mini-marathon, more live entertainment and the conclusion of the cook-off.  There will also be a cornhole tournament, craft booths, a parade and an auction.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Dime Box Lions Club Scholarship Fund, the Black Bridge Park Initiative and other Dime Box Lions Club projects.
