GRIMES CO. TO PARTICIPATE IN ‘TREE OF ANGELS’
ANGEL TREES TO BE LOCATED IN NAVASOTA, ANDERSON
Families are invited to participate in a solemn holiday tradition in Grimes County.
The Tree of Angels honors victims of violent crime by allowing families and loved ones to place an angel ornament on a special Christmas tree.
An angel tree is located in the lobby of Navasota City Hall. Following December 14th, there will also be a tree in the lobby of the Grimes County Courthouse in Anderson.
The Tree of Angels began in Austin in December 1991 through People Against Violent Crime, and was established to remember and pay tribute to crime victims and survivors.
