BRENHAM MAIN STREET BOARD APPROVES INCENTIVE GRANTS

  

The Brenham Main Street Board approved incentive grant reimbursement for work done at several downtown properties at its meeting Monday.

The board permitted partial reimbursement for updates to three buildings, based on design committee recommendations.

Reimbursement amounts approved by the board on Monday include:

• $2,000 for painting of the historic Brenham Opera House at 101 West Alamo Street.
• $7,000 for façade work at 213 West Main Street.
• $7,000 for façade work at Floyd’s Wine Lounge at 315 South Baylor Street.

The funding is provided by Main Street Brenham as a match for half or up to $7,000 of the project cost.
