HIGHWAY 36 OVERPASS COMING DOWN
Workers are beginning to tear down the overpass at Highway 36 and Business 36 just north of Brenham.
The work is part of a 3.6-million dollar project that TxDOT claims will improve traffic safety in the area.
Last week a temporary traffic signal was activated at the Highway-36 and Business-36 intersection.
TxDot’s contractor is tearing down the overpass in order to install a permanent traffic intersection.
The project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2015.
