BRENHAM LAWYER RECEIVES STATE BOARD CERTIFICATION

  

An attorney and partner with a Brenham law firm recently achieved a major accomplishment in his career.

Moorman Tate LLP announced that Andrew J. “Andy” Hefferly has received his board certification in the area of Estate Planning and Probate Law with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Board certification is a process that includes peer and judicial review, continuing legal education, a concentration of work experience in a relevant field of specialization, and a six hour written exam.

Less than 7% of all Texas lawyers are board certified across the 25 practice areas offered for board certification by TBLS.

Hefferly received his Bachelor of Arts from the Honors College at Texas Tech in 2007. He later also received his juris doctorate from Texas Tech in 2011.

Hefferly is a member of the Texas Bar College and has been named to the Super Lawyers 2021 Texas Rising Stars list for two consecutive years, as featured in Texas Monthly magazine.
