BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING TEAMS ARE GOING TO STATE

The Brenham Cub and Cubette Bowling Teams are going to the State Tournament.
Both team finished second at Regionals over the weekend. The Cubs finished behind only Class 6A Summer Creek, and the Cubette finished second only behind Class 6A Katy.
On the Boys' side, Campbell Groves also made State individually with a third place finish. In his first game of the day, Groves bowled a 259. Over the five games played, he averaged a 210 score.
Charlie Boggan finished eighth overall, while John Val Klein finished 18th. Also bowling for the Cubs at State will be Lane Sparks, Reece Knebel, and Carter Cohrs.
On the Girls' side, Jenna Lindemann finished in the top ten. Caroline Murphy was 13th overall, and Lauren Lindemann was 14th overall. Lauren Lindemann also had the highest individual game with a 167. Also bowling for Brenham at the State Tournament will be Leah Hardy, Kelsey Zientek, and Adrienne Zientek.
The State Bowling Tournament is going to be later this month in Grand Prairie.
