TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY EVENING

  

Two people were arrested Sunday evening during a business check.

Brenham Police report that Sunday evening at 8:45, Officers Guerra and Jernigan were conducting a business check in the 2800 block of Woodridge Blvd. and observed a vehicle towards the back of a closed business.  Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, Kevin Ashley Pierce Gaines, 42 and Joseph Kruer, 42, both of College Station.  During the investigation, Officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.  Kruer was taken into custody and booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 Oz, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, while Gaines was taken into custody and booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.
