CAKE SMASH CHALLENGE A HUGE SUCCESS

  

The CASA for Kids of South Central Texas Cake Smash Challenge was a huge success last month.  They had set a goal of raising $15,000 but more than doubled that amount by raising $30,950.  The event was to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The fundraiser had 329 individual donors.

The event culminated with Waller County Judge Trey Duhon and Austin County Judge Tim Lapham smashing each other in the face with a Cake for the fundraiser.

The next fundraiser scheduled for CASA for Kids of South Central Texas is the second annual Fall Gala set for October 2nd.
