BRENHAM POLICE ARREST AUSTIN MAN FOR MONEY LAUNDERING, MARIJUANA POSSESSION

A weekend traffic stop in Brenham led to the arrest of an Austin man on marijuana and money laundering charges.
On Saturday, just before 3:15 p.m., Brenham police stopped a vehicle near the 3000 block of Highway 290 East.
After an investigation, the passenger in the vehicle, 28-year-old Kaleib Ahart was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana between 2 and 4 oz. and Money Laundering between $2,500 and $30,000.
Ahart was transported to the Washington County Jail.
