BRENHAM ISD SEEKING DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI NOMINATIONS

Brenham ISD is seeking nominations for this year’s annual Distinguished Alumni.
The alumni are honored at an annual celebration luncheon recognizing the history and success of both the schools and its former students each September.
Last year’s honorees were Cheryl DaBera, Michael O’Shea, Ray Rodenbeck, and Don Sharp.
To nominate someone, there is an on-line form that must be submitted to the Central Administration Office of Brenham ISD by this coming Thursday, June 16.
A link to the nomination form can be found here www.brenhamisd.net/page/alumni.NominationPage.
Any nominations received after that date will not be considered for the 2022 awards. However, they will be kept on file for a period of five years, and considered for induction the following year.
The Selection Committee says that they will focus its consideration upon alumni who have demonstrated the character traits of leadership and service, with the nominee’s personal and professional success being an additional factor.
Examples include participation in community, state, or national activities; evidence of lasting contribution to an organization, business, or society in general; exhibited leadership ability, and distinction in personal life.
