THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGES
Three people were arrested over the weekend in separate incidents on DWI charges.
Brenham Police report that Friday night at 10:20, Officer Caskey conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for an equipment violation in the 200 block of Highway 290 East. During the officers’ investigation, the driver, identified as Bridget Arnold, 36 of Navasota, showed signs of intoxication and after a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Arnold was arrested and booked in at the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated.
Then early Saturday morning at 1:50, Officer Bruno responded to the 200 block of East Alamo Street in reference to a welfare concern. The driver, Eric LJ Colvin, 25 of Katy, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Colvin was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in.
Then Saturday evening at 7:10, Sgt. Burns conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation near the 1600 block of FM 389. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Carlos Zamora Esquivel, 40 of Brenham, was intoxicated and was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated as well as well as a warrant, out of Washington County, for bond revocation for a previous charge of DWI.
