CUBS DROP GAME TO BRYAN RUDDER 66-53

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team dropped another district contest as they lost to Bryan Rudder at home last (Tuesday) night 66-53.

Rudder jumped out to an early 19-12 lead in the first quarter. However, the Cubs battled back, and outscored the Rangers 18-14 in the second quarter to cut it down to a 33-30 lead at halftime.

Rudder took control of the game in the third quarter where they outscored Brenham 17-8, which increased their lead to 50-38.

The Rangers also won the fourth quarter 16-15.

Shaun Ray led the Cubs with 14 points. Josiah Ferguson finished with 13 points.

Brenham will be on the road Friday night to face Lake Creek at 6:30pm.
