BRENHAM VS. MONTGOMERY FOR FINAL PLAYOFF SPOT

The Brenham Cubettes and the Montgomery Lady Bears have one final chance to make the playoffs later this (Friday) evening.

The two teams will face off one more time tonight (Friday) at 6:30pm at College Station High School. The winner goes into the playoffs as the fourth place seed from District 21-5A, while the loser will see their season come to an end.

Brenham enters the game with a 16-15 overall record, while Montgomery is 22-11.

Both teams finished 7-7 in district play.

During district play, the home team won both games in the head-to-head matchups. Brenham won the first meeting 55-53 on January 6, while Montgomery won the second meeting 47-24 on January 31.

Also in District 21-5A, A&M Consolidated is taking on Lake Creek in a one game playoff tonight (Friday) at 5pm at Bryan High School.

The winner will get the number two seed in the playoffs, while the loser will get the number three seed.

College Station won the district championship.
