BRENHAM PREGNANCY CENTER TO HOLD 21ST ANNUAL GALA
The Brenham Pregnancy Center is getting ready to host their 21st Annual Fundraising Gala.
The gala is going to be held on Thursday, March 2, at Deep in the Heart Farms on Highway 105 just outside of Brenham.
The Pregnancy Center is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 with a mission of affirming the value of life by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual assistance to anyone experiencing pregnancy or abortion-related issues and by compassionately proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Center provides free services that include pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, life-affirming options counseling, post-abortion healing, spiritual services, miscarriage support, material assistance through their Baby Boutique, financial coaching, community referrals, and more.
Executive Director Melissa Lasater said that over the years, the BPC has served close to 9,000 women and families from Washington and the surrounding counties.
Since Roe vs. Wade was overturned, they have seen their numbers almost double from last year, and Lasater anticipates that the need will continue to rise.
They have three types of sponsorships available for the Gala: a Diamond Sponsorship for $1,000, an Emerald Sponsorship for $3,000, and a Platinum Sponsorship for $5,000.
