SOMERVILLE MAN ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

A Somerville man was arrested Saturday night on a DWI charge.  Brenham Police report that Saturday night at 11:45, Officers were dispatched to a reckless driver complaint. A caller reported a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the roadway on Highway 290 West traveling East bound towards Brenham. Corporal Armando Guerra located the vehicle as it entered the city limits and initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 36 North and North Park Street. The driver exhibited signs of being intoxicated and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Due to his performance the driver, Dennis Earl Carey, 67 of Somerville, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated with 3 or More Previous Convictions.
