TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR THEFT

  

Two people were arrested Tuesday in separate theft incidents at the local Walmart store.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday evening at 7:55, Officer Jacob Faske and Officer Eric Crosby were dispatched to the local Walmart store at 203 Highway 290 West in reference to a theft in progress. Upon completion of the investigation, Justin Daniels, 33 of Brenham, was placed into custody for Criminal Trespass and Theft of Property less than $100.

Then Tuesday night at 8:10, Officer Matthew Brown and Officer Crystal Buckner were dispatched to shoplifting also at the local Walmart store. Dispatch advised that the suspect was wearing a tan hoodie, driving away in a black car, and turning into Whataburger. The vehicle was located, and after further investigation, it was determined that the male, Anderson Micolta, 20 of Brenham, had stolen property.  Shortly after, Micolta was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Theft of Property between $100 and $750.
