TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested for DWI in separate incidents over the weekend.

Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 12:15, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the 500 block of West Tom Green Street. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, identified as Tammy Gehovak, 52 of Brenham, was driving while intoxicated. Gehovak was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated.

Then Sunday night at 9:15, Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Park Street in reference to a weapon involved situation. After a vehicle related to the call was located and an investigation was conducted, the driver Alfredo Villegas, 56 of San Antonio, was arrested for DWI, 3rd or More Offences, and transported to Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
