MARCH 2023 BUILDING PERMITS

  

Building permits in the City of Brenham were way down during the month of March compared to the previous year.

In the latest report, during March 2023, the city issued 36 permits totaling $2,064,539. For March 2022, the city issued 37 permits totaling $4,331,959.

So far, for the first three months of 2023, the City of Brenham has issued 93 permits totaling $5,558,582.

By comparison, during the first three months of 2022, the City of Brenham issued 109 permits totaling $15,344,041.

The three largest permits this month were for new homes. The two largest were for homes at 607 Davy Street and 704 Davy Street that were $184,233 each.

The third was for a new home at 705 Davy Street for $154,815.

Another item of note was a permit to the Brenham Fireman’s Training Center in the amount of $68,000 for metal roof replacement.
