BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was arrested on DWI charges Wednesday evening.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday evening at 6:45, Corporal Jose Perez was dispatched to a crash. Further information obtained by dispatch revealed that the vehicle took off from scene. The vehicle was eventually located in the 400 block of Highway 290 West. Investigation revealed that the driver, Donald Edward Lyles, 66 of Brenham, was highly intoxicated. Lyles was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcoholic Container and transported to the Washington County Jail.
