CALDWELL HIGH SCHOOL INTRODUCES NEW PRINCIPAL
Caldwell ISD has named its next high school principal.
The school district on Tuesday announced that Erin Meadows is now leading the high school as it gets ready for the new school year. Tuesday was her first day on campus.
Meadows, who has over 20 years of experience in education, comes to Caldwell after most recently serving as Hempstead ISD’s chief academic officer.
Meadows studied at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication and rhetoric, and at the University of Houston-Victoria, where she obtained a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration.
Caldwell ISD said Meadows “brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our school”, adding that “her passion for education and dedication to creating a positive learning environment will guide us towards even greater achievements.”
The principal position was previously held by Dr. Justin Turner, who was chosen by Hubbard ISD to become the district’s new superintendent. Karla Sparks, former superintendent of Somerville ISD and most recently Giddings High School’s interim principal, filled the vacancy at Caldwell High School prior to Meadows’ arrival.
