STS. CYRIL & METHODIUS CHURCH FEAST JULY 2
Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Dubina is getting ready to host its annual church feast.
The celebration is set for Sunday, July 2nd at the church, located on FM 1383 at Piano Bridge Road, between Schulenburg and Weimar.
The day begins with a polka mass at 9 a.m. A fried chicken and sausage dinner with all the trimmings will be served beginning at 11 a.m.
Other activities planned include a country auction, bingo, antique and classic car displays, a washer pitching tournament and a sweepstakes drawing. Guests will be able to dance to music from Mark Halata & Texavia and the Lost Cause Band from noon to 7 p.m.
Hamburgers will be served in the evening. Dubina cookbooks will be for sale at the country store.
