BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING TO MEET MONDAY

The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Monday.

The meeting will include reports and updates on the Brenham Family Park small area plan and the city’s impact fee study.

Two residential replat requests will come before commissioners in regular session.  The first is from Edin and Martha Inestroza, who are looking to take undeveloped properties at the northeast corner of the intersection of Sabine and Clay Streets, reconfigure and replat the lots to develop townhomes on a total of 3.38 acres.

The second replat item is from Artis Edwards Sr., who seeks to subdivide 1.37 acres at 1310 Bridge Street into two tracts for residential development.  The proposed reserve tract could not be developed until an existing sewer line is moved and the tract is replatted from a reserve tract into a qualified lot.

Both regular session items are recommended for approval by city staff.

In the consent agenda, the commission will consider a request from Ted and Rosa Dean to approve a preliminary and final plat for the El Jardin subdivision, combining existing unplatted tracts into one 12.23-acre lot at 302 Sweed Street for future development.

The commission will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
