MISSING ELDERLY WOMAN FOUND SAFE
An elderly woman was discovered safe and sound after wandering away from her residence.
Washington County sent out an alert around 4:30pm yesterday (Thursday) for an 81-year-old female who went missing.
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office and a K-9 Unit from the Hempstead Police Department were called in to assist in the search, which lasted into the early morning hours.
According to a post on the Waller County Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page, the elderly female was discovered around 3:45am this (Friday) morning by Hempstead K-9 Officer Joker, and his handler Sgt. Tony Fourroux.
They walked her out of a creek bed area.
The missing woman was unharmed, and told officers that she didn’t know what all the fuss was about.
