TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

Two people were arrested Saturday after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Saturday night at 10:15, Officer Jenkins and Corporal Perez initiated a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Highway 36 North. Marijuana was located in the vehicle during a search. The driver, Nathan Lloyd Nix, 45 of Houston, exhibited signs of intoxication and standard field sobriety tests were administered. The driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or more offences. The passenger, Taurus Delbert Roberts, 53 of Houston, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
