RANDY BAYER APPOINTED TO STATE INSPECTOR COMMITTEE

  

The owner of an inspection company and two downtown Brenham businesses has been named to a state committee.

Randy Bayer, a licensed inspector who is the co-
owner of Brown Water Cigar Bar (pictured) and
Main Street Uncorked in downtown Brenham, has
been appointed to the Texas Real Estate
Commission Inspector Committee.

Randy Bayer was confirmed in a vote today (Monday) by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) as a member of the TREC Inspector Committee after being recommended for appointment by committee members.  His six-year term begins January 1, 2024. 

Bayer is a licensed TREC Professional Inspector and an International Code Council (ICC) Residential Combination Inspector.  He owns Texas SureHome Inspection Services, Inc. and is a retired custom builder in Katy.  He and his wife, Suzi, own Brown Water Cigar Bar and Main Street Uncorked. 

Bayer has served as the President of the Greater Houston Builders Association, President of the Texas Association of Builders, and is a Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders.  He is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BBA in Finance and holds a Graduate Master Builder Certification from the Home Builders Institute.
