RT-C SPLITS MATCHES ON FINAL DAY OF THE COLUMBUS TOURNAMENT

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes finished third in the Silver Bracket at the Columbus Tournament on Saturday. 

In their first match of the day, Round Top-Carmine lost to Sealy 2-1 (25-19, 13-25, and 20-25).  Kaysie Ward finished with 10 kills.  Mallory Krause dished out 13 assists.  Jill Eilers had 10 digs and 9 assists.  Maggie Salinas added 12 digs.

RT-C then finished with a 2-1 win over Devine 25-13, 15-25, and 25-22.  Krause had 9 kills and 12 assists.  Tess Eilers had 8 kills and 10 digs.  Jill Eilers finished with 9 digs and 11 assists.  Maggie Salinas added 18 digs. 

Next up, RT-C will host Weimar and Navasota in a three-team match tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.
