BRENHAM CUBETTES WRAP UP FRAULEIN FEST TOURNAMENT

At Fraulein Fest in New Braunfels, the Brenham Cubettes opened Copper Bracket play on Saturday with a 2-0 sweep over Incarnate Word.  The Cubettes won the sets 25-19 and 25-21.

Lillie Thibodeaux and Antyiahna Lang led the offense with five kills each.

Charli Crowson dished out 16 assists.

Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 14 digs.

However, Brenham then closed out the tournament with back-to-back losses. 

First, they fell to Round Rock 2-1.  Brenham won the first set 25-14, but then Round Rock won the next two sets 25-20 and 25-23 to take the match.

Then, Brenham got swept by New Braunfels 25-13 and 25-15.

Next up, the Cubettes will be in Giddings tomorrow (Tuesday) night to take on the Lady Buffaloes at 5:30pm.
