WARRANT ARREST MADE ON WASHINGTON MAN

  

A warrant arrest was made on a Washington man after he was stopped riding a bicycle.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday evening at 8:10, Officer Eric Crosby made contact with a bicyclist in the 1700 block of Highway 105 for no front light. The bicyclist, Tyrone Gantt, 38 of Washington, was discovered to have two warrants for Burglary of Habitation issued by the District Court of Grimes County and Pedestrian Entering Path of Vehicle issued by JP Pct. 1 Washington County. Gantt was then transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
