TWO MEN ARRESTED IN AUSTIN COUNTY DRUG BUST

  

An ongoing investigation by the Westside Narcotics Task Force led to the arrest of two men in Bellville on Wednesday.

Around 8am, members of the Austin County Regional Special Response Team executed a search warrant and an arrest warrant at the Park Place Apartments at 20 South Mechanic Street in Bellville.

36-year-old Devan Langley and 41-year-old Robert Green were arrested on active warrants for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. 

Law enforcement conducted a search of the suspects’ apartment, which led to the discovery of methamphetamine, ecstasy, Xanax, and U.S. currency. 

Officers also recovered a semi-automatic handgun that was later confirmed to be listed as stolen.

The investigation into the case is ongoing. 

The Austin County District Attorney’s Office assisted with the investigation. 

The Bellville Police Department, the Waller County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Division, and the Washington County Tactical Medics assisted with the operation.
