AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED EARLY MONDAY

  

An Austin man was placed under arrest early Monday morning by Brenham Police.

They report that early Monday morning at 3:30, Officers responded to the 1800 block of Highway 105 in reference to a Suspicious Vehicle. A vehicle described as a maroon Ford Pickup was parked on the side of the road. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Carlos Martinez-Delao, 35 of Austin, had an active warrant out of Travis County. Delao was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County jail for booking. While at the jail, Delao was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Delao was booked in for his warrant, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Prohibited Substances in a Correctional Facility.
