PANTHERS AND LADY PANTHERS SWEEP HOME DOUBLEHEADER

The Burton Panthers and Lady Panthers each picked up wins in a home doubleheader last (Tuesday) night.

In the opener, the Lady Panthers beat the Milano Lady Eagles 55-48. Tiara Burns led the way with 22 points, while Addison Harmel had 13 points, and Ciara Burns finished with nine points.

Then, in the nightcap, the Burton Panthers defeated the Round-Top Carmine Cubs 66-34. Greyson Mathis led the Panthers with 13 points, while Eli Simank finished with 12 points.

Next up, the Panthers are going to be taking part in the Brazos-Wallis Tournament , which starts tomorrow (Thursday) and runs through Saturday.

The Lady Panthers are off until Tuesday night when they visit Brazos Christian.
