CITY OF BRENHAM/WASHINGTON COUNTY ANNOUNCE CLOSINGS

  

Offices for the City of Brenham and Washington County have announced their schedule of closings for the upcoming Christmas holiday.

City of Brenham offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26.

This includes City Hall, Municipal Court, Pet Adoption and Animal Services, the Blue Bell Aquatic Center, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, and the Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center. 

The Washington County Courthouse and all Washington County Offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday as well.

The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station is only going to be closed on Christmas Day.

BVR will be closed on Monday, so there will be no residential trash pick-ups that day.  Instead, they are going to do Monday’s scheduled pick-ups this coming Saturday, December 23.  BVR asks that Monday customers please place their carts out by 8am on Saturday.

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of Christmas.  Bluebonnet members can access their account information and make payments while the offices are closed through the co-op’s website at bluebonnet.coop, the MyBluebonnet mobile app, or by calling 800-842-7708.

Bluebonnet members can report power outages during the Christmas holiday through the MyBluebonnet mobile app, online at bluebonnet.coop, or by calling 800-949-4414.

Members enrolled in Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts can report an outage by texting OUT to 85700.  Should an outage occur, Bluebonnet personnel will be on call during the holiday to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
