WALLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS TWO ACCUSED HUMAN SMUGGLERS

Two men were arrested on Wednesday during an early morning traffic stop in Waller County.
The Waller County K-9 Unit made a traffic stop on I-10 at Woods Road near Brookshire around 2:30am.

Maximino Moralez and Joseph Ali Guevara were taken into custody on charges of Human Smuggling.
Moralez also received an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The Hempstead Police Department and the Brookshire Police Department assisted with the arrests.
Moralez and Guevara were transported and booked into the Waller County Jail in Hempstead.

Keep allowing our Borders to be Open to all and we will continue to see this more and more, My fear is one day we will all pay the price for Our current Border Free for all.

They probably didn’t come from crime ridden countries that have people with nothing to lose……
God knows we don’t need that! We already have enough homeland “in-house” crime ridden communities in the US, as a result of people with nothing to lose …
Heck yea it was open to proper channels , when they came over from Germany on the boat they had applied and received proper documentation to come on over hot like these modern-day border crashers who just show up and push through the line. please leave your address so these newbies can come stay with you.
When we see general statements like “it was open when they showed up”, we fail to properly remember our history where migration was allowed, encouraged, and facilitated. Ocean liner brought massive amounts of immigrants from all over the world and they were legally processed at the port of entry. That is not what is happening now.
Let’s acknowledge that our border is wide open and not secure and that our politicians on both side of the aisle are doing absolutely nothing about it. In my opinion, the borders need to be closed to illegal immigration, our immigration system needs to be updated to allow immigrants to easily, cheaply, and quickly immigrate to our country the legal way. Once here, they need to respect our laws, learn the language, stay off the social safety net (welfare programs), and find jobs and pay taxes. Those are all things the rest of us have to do. We need immigrants, they add a great deal to our society and culture, however we need to fix our very broken system to allow legal immigration only.
And what makes you think we need immigrants anymore?
What was once true in this country does not make it a constant. Do we still have manifest destiny or the industrial revolution to support? No we don’t and immigration was needed to make those things happen. The US has not always allowed immigration because it used to care more about its average citizens than the wealthy few that reap most of the cheap labor benefit.
Do you realizes that half the country actually believes that assimilation is oppression? The idea of respecting laws and learning language is part of assimilation.
The US visa program, the allowed job offshoring, and illegal immigration all work against your neighbors ability to make a better living by undercutting the organic US labor pool. They also destroy our public education system by consuming more resources than what they pays in (if pay anything). Its a sham and you don’t have accept the lie that’s its necessary for the US to be competitive.
The US is blessed with the ability to responsibly produce all that it consumes and we have been allowing greed to get in the way of that for 50 years. Nothing on this earth cannot be changed and then changed back. Never believe someone that says something cannot return to the way it was, they likely also believe they, themselves, can’t or don’t change.

Your “memory” of history is flawed. It may be true that “massive amounts of immigrants” came to the New World in an “ocean liner”; but, they came from Great Britain! Not from all over the world. The Chinese came as indentured servants/slaves, the dark skinned slaves from Africa came in chains and the native Indians were massacred! There was no legal port of entry welcoming the Chinese nor the slaves aboard ships in Jamestown, Virginia. Great Britain sent (their best), convicts, rapists, murderers, thieves and fugitives to help settle the New World (College History). Those who claim some inherited ownership of “America” have NEVER wanted immigrants to “think” they were equal Americans. Solving the immigration crisis will NEVER HAPPEN. Immigrants will continue to come to the US as long as business owners can continue to get away with hiring these “undesirables” for slave wages. I am sure you are well aware of the saying, “it’s okay to work with them but not to socialize with them”. Pick up, arrest and penalize business owners who hire illegal immigrants … this might be a good start to controlling the immigrant crisis. Otherwise we are just casting blame. Let us not forget how Hitler persuaded Germany that their financial troubles were the result of the immigrant Jews. We know “hell” that propaganda lead to. History does repeat itself because “fools” forget history. BTW, God requires HIS believers to love and care for widows, orphans and IMMIGRANTS! We have a broken immigration system because BOTH political parties are also, woefully & willfully broken.
History shows us that immigrants came from all over Europe with ocean liners belonging not only to British lines, but also French, German, Italian, and many more bringing immigrants from all over Europe. There were also large amounts of Chinese workers brought into the US to help build the transcontinental railroad. The idea that immigration was a British only club is silly and ignores facts. The idea that immigrants are not equal to all Americans is ridiculous and is something I would call racist. I have never heard the saying “it’s okay to work with them but not to socialize with them”, but that is a shameful viewpoint. Right now in the US, we have more open jobs than we do applicants to fill them, these jobs span from the entry level jobs up to skilled technical and professional jobs. We need immigrants, they are good for our country, our culture, and our economy. I agree that businesses who hire illegal immigrants should be dealt with and punished, they are perpetuating a bad system. However I also see how broken our system is, how we could benefit from a streamlined LEGAL immigration process that takes the incentive out of illegal immigration. Allow immigrants to safely and easily migrate here, require that they learn the language, obey the laws, pay taxes, and are not on the social safety net. Those simple things would do amazing things to benefit immigrants and our country. That is my humble opinion and I stand by.it. P.S. I am a very conservative person, not a woke liberal, but I think some common sense should be applied to this problem instead of divisive partisan politics.
Yes, mine came from Germany, on a ship and worked for everything they had. They became citizens and were tarred and feathered when they spoke their native language. They did not have a free for all like it is now.
Unfortunately, “Let’s Do Better” is somewhat misguided regarding immigration. “White” folk (a misnomer) are not told to “go back to your country”. Blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skinned people living in America are assumed to “belong”. There are communities in this county where the residents are assumed to be foreigners or immigrants; yet, they were born in this country and are citizens of this county but proudly live according to their cultural traditions and rightfully so. An ignorant person would assume they are immigrants STILL! Americans who look like immigrants are not looked upon as being “equal” Americans. And yes, that is racist. I, for one, care nothing for a person’s skin color or ethnicity. I am not inferior nor superior to ANYONE! If everyone had common sense we would not be divided as a nation by race (skin color), creed, religion, sexual preference or politics. Americans are lazy and entitled … white, Black, brown and otherwise! You want immigrants to do what Americans don’t do; work, speak proper English, obey the laws, pay taxes and stay off of the safety net! How it used to be will never be again. I will fire the 1st shot to prevent our failed past of skin color privilege from being our future. That is the mental problem afflicting those who live in the good ole days of the past. No sane person wants to “go back in time”. Our future is in trouble as long as we vote our prejudices and allow corrupt people with no integrity to lead our governments. We agree on one thing … business owners are partly the blame and should be penalized for hiring illegal immigrants as cheap slave labor. Whether legal or illegal, immigration is a “hugely big” problem for those not so enlightened.
Christians love and care for widows, orphans and IMMIGRANTS! What I am reading is divisive, racist hate mongering! Nobody works for what they have except one’s ancestors who walked over here barefoot from Germany or Poland fasting without food along the way and they pulled themselves up by their “boot straps” with help from no one! Silly people, tricks are for kids.
